Much awaited Core i7 laptop processors are about to hit the market soon in September, as declared by MSI. It is confirmed that just before the launch of Windows 7 , MSI will release15.4 & 17 inch Core i7 laptops will get ready to be released. These processors are intended for high end gaming and multitasking purposes though it is not too much power friendly. As these chips will populate next generation with some high ended and eye-popping laptops for gaming, they are expected to be priced really high. This announcement has been made by one prolific manufacturer dealing in computers.

The power will be soon be passed on to the family of laptops as the platform code of Intel called Arrandale will be producing the Core i3 & Core i5 processors the very next year, which can even replace some mainstream processors for laptops.

But for now, these Core i7 laptop processors will be the topmost replacements for desktops apart from the budget sections that have always been the market place’s part which is fastest growing. However the question still remains for the serious laptop user – will he intend to buy laptops containing these Core i7 processors?

It is doubtful if battery life would be close or near to being functional so that a serious user is not needed to camp near a power outlet all the time.

When Intel was asked about the latest news about the launch of these processors, they said that although MSI has provided product details but their timing is wrong. You should take that as you will. This could add more spice to a market that is expected to boom big-time in the days ahead.
