With its large screen size of 18.4”, Toshiba’s video upscaling application, a blue ray device, Resolution+, an outstanding multimedia performance is provided by the new Qosmio X500 which will be available during last quarter of 2009 throughout Africa, Europe and Middle East. This new gaming laptop is all set and prepared to meet future challenges in the fast evolving gaming market such as HD content, 3D effects, fast moving cuts and scenes and new types of online interactive gaming platforms and deliveries. The new Qosmio, powered by Intel’s quad core processors and brilliant Nvidia graphics boasts high performance and delivers realistic game play experience with vibrant environments, dynamic character effects and intense 3D visuals. You get a pin sharp bright picture with the large 18.4 full HD LCD screen having a resolution up to 1920*1080 pixels and 16:9 aspect ratio and with these tracks of even the fastest action scenes are kept. To reduce data loading time for accelerated game performance, the Qosmio X500 supports a 64 GB solid state drive as a high speed alternative to traditional hard drives; inturn getting speedy performance and fast boot.
The Qosmio X500 supports up to two hard drives with a total capacity of up to 1 TB and 8 GB DDR3 memory. The REGZA- Link HDMI-CEC which is High definition multimedia interface in Toshiba connects high definition audio and video devices which can all be controlled with a single remote control. It also has Firewire and 5-in-1 Bridge Media port which along with others completes Qosmio’s connectivity features.
